Hi, I’m Aimee Barro. I’m a wife, mama of six, homemaker, blogger, content creator, and the heart behind Lumiere Vive. This space is where I share our everyday life, what God is teaching me, the home we are slowly creating, the brands I love, and the little moments I want to remember.
a little more of the story
My story has always been woven through home, creativity, family, and faith.
I started blogging and sharing online in 2012, back when content creation was mostly called influencing. I had an account called Shabby Yellow Barn, where I shared our home, DIY projects, decorating, and the little creative details that made life feel special. I quickly fell in love with creating beautiful, meaningful content and connecting with small businesses.
Over the years, that love for creating grew into boutique ownership, brand marketing, product photography, writing, styling, blogging, and now coming back to content creation in a way that feels deeply aligned with this season of my life.
Family and Faith
I met my husband when I was eighteen, married him when I was twenty, and we had our first baby boy when I was twenty one. We now have six children, three boys, then our girls and younger boys, and this year marks twenty years of marriage. Jesus has changed everything in my life, my home, my marriage, and the way I show up here.
Home and Creativity
I have loved interior design, painting, renovating, and creating beautiful spaces since I was young. I have painted homes since I was twelve, designed several homes, and renovated and flipped homes along the way. I love bringing color into the everyday, finding vintage details, crafting, decorating, and making ordinary moments feel magical.
Content Creation
I create warm, lived in content that feels natural and real. I love b roll, product styling, professional photography, voiceovers, storytelling, blog posts, family content, home projects, recipes, travel, routines, and the details that help a brand feel seen in a genuine way.

A space that has grown and changed with me.
Lumiere Vive means bright light. What began through years of creativity, boutique ownership, and sharing online has slowly become a space for faith, homemaking, motherhood, content creation, blogging, favorite finds, and intentional living.
After years on the brand side, I understand what makes someone stop scrolling. I know how important details, storytelling, visuals, timing, and trust are when sharing a product or brand online. I love helping brands tell a story in a way that feels beautiful, personal, and useful.
What I Love Sharing
Faith, home projects, peaceful routines, motherhood, family life, recipes, gift giving, vintage details, DIY projects, travel, hiking, beach trips, animals, favorite finds, and the little things that turn into sweet memories.
How I Create
I use photography, video, voiceovers, writing, editing, styling, and thoughtful planning to create content that feels warm, honest, and connected. I use tools like Canva, Lightroom, CapCut, Asana, my phones, and my Sony camera to keep projects organized and beautiful.
Who I Love Working With
I love connecting with small businesses, local companies, family brands, home brands, wellness brands, faith based companies, travel spaces, creative businesses, and brands that naturally fit into our everyday life.
Life Around Here
We live in North Phoenix, Arizona, after seasons in Texas and Virginia. We are close to the desert, the lake, and the mountains, and we love family adventures, road trips, time outside, and creating memories with our children.
the heart behind it all
Our home is full, loud, creative, and deeply loved.
I am raising six children, from teenagers to little ones, and our home is also full of animals, including dogs, birds, and fish. One day I pray we will have a farm again. Until then, I am learning to find beauty in this season, in the routines, the messes, the meals, the projects, the prayers, the family days, and the everyday moments God places right in front of us.

I've spent years on both sides of the table.
Long before creating content became a career path, I was building businesses, photographing products, styling displays, writing marketing campaigns, serving customers, and learning what truly makes people connect with a brand.
Over the years I have owned boutiques, managed inventory, launched products, coordinated events, worked directly with customers, created websites, written thousands of captions, photographed products, and built communities both online and in person.
Those experiences give me a unique perspective when working with brands because I understand both the creative side and the business goals behind every campaign.
